The partners

The TOA platform has been developed by the International Trade Centre (ITC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade as well as the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI).

The trade obstacles alert mechanism brings together representatives of public and semi-public agencies involved in the implementation of trade regulations and procedures as well as private sector representatives. International and regional partners also contribute to the functioning of the mechanism by providing technical or financial support.

To date, the partners are:

    The MCCI is the National Focal Point.

    The MRA is a member of the NMC.

    The Ministry is a member of the NMC.

    BOI is a member of the NMC.
  • The International Trade Centre (ITC)
    The ITC is the joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations which provides technical support for the development and maintenance of the TOA platform. It also supports national institutions in the creation of the underlying mechanism.
  • The United Kingdom Department for International Development DFID)
    DFID leads the UK’s work to end extreme poverty. It is ending the need for aid by creating jobs, unlocking the potential of girls and women and helping to save lives when humanitarian emergencies hit.
